Empowering Students for a Safer Future: Voice of Restoration International Engages St Mary’s Ediofe Girls

International conducted a focused school-based engagement for students at St
Mary’s Ediofe Girls Secondary School, centered on Alcohol Harm Prevention,
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention, and Child Protection.
The session actively engaged students through interactive discussions and
practical learning, equipping them with knowledge and life skills to make
informed decisions, resist alcohol and substance use, and identify as well
as prevent forms of GBV. Emphasis was also placed on child protection,
helping learners understand their rights, personal safety, and how to seek
help when faced with risk or abuse.
This student-centered engagement highlighted the importance of empowering
young people as key agents of change in promoting safe, healthy, and
supportive school environments.
